Look closely and you'll see the white dove (paloma blanca) in the steeple of this abandoned adobe church in the Chincha Valley, 200km south of Lima, Peru.

It's not at all unusual to see an artist painting this gate, just off Canyon Road in Santa Fe. But that's on a nice summer day. At night, the gate and the wall take on an entirely different feeling.
