P.S. Those last two images are for the past two nights. I've been fighting computer problems. One of my backup hard drives somehow became scrambled. It appears to be in an entirely new language, and nothing is accessible. I would format it and start over, but there are about 8 gigabytes of images that would be lost, as I had not had a chance to back them up to my other drive when this incident

Bota de Gaucho © John Farnsworth 2008 Traditional rawhide boot, almost more like a stocking, which enables the Gaucho to grip the stirrup with his toes, rather than jamming his foot full into the stirrup, against the heel. The heel, here, consists of a slightly thicker piece of leather. My friend, MiguelAngel Gasparini told me the correct name for this boot, but it escapes me for the moment.
