This is Mossface. An original
watercolor from our private collection. It depicts a Buffalo (Bison)
skull, which we found in Wyoming,
covered with lichen.
I wanted to bring it home with us, but a friend
, some years before, had brought me a similarly covered horse skull. The
lichen had dried up and fallen away in the dry Arizona climate, no
matter how hard I tried to keep it moist. I knew the same thing would
happen to this one. So, instead, I painted it.
We are now offering giclée prints on
watercolor paper, and they are beautiful. Image size is approximately
22" x 30", and the price is $600.
Zuni Rain Maidens is a pastel
study done in the '70's.

Zuni Cloud Maiden is
a charcoal drawing, 15 1/2" x 41 1/2". The original is
