Hello and welcome to the John Farnsworth Gallery Online.
Whether your interest is in paintings or photographs, drawings or reproductions, you will find a wide variety of subjects, such as horses and other animals, travel, landscape, still life, people, and Kachinas. The Charro, or Mexican cowboy, and the Gaucho, or Argentinian cowboy can be found here along with the American cowboy and the Native American.
Visit places as varied as Mexico, Argentina, Spain, France, Peru, Italy, and others, including the deserts and mountains of the American Southwest. Join me on workshops all around the world, in a place of your choosing, or even in your own home. Learn the creative side of photography, the basics of watercolor painting, oil painting, travel sketching and painting, all based on my (Un)limited palette, using just the primary colors, blue, red, and yellow. If you prefer one-on-one mentoring, or would like to join me on a free-form photo trip, drop me a line or call 505 982-4561. Books and DVDs coming soon.
Collectors will find a wide selection of unique original works, the result of a career spanning more than forty years, in oils, watercolor, pastels, drawings, sketches, and studies, as well as a wide range of Fine Art photographic images.
Those who don’t yet consider themselves collectors, but who are primarily interested in decorating their homes or offices with work that is a cut above the usual poster or mass produced reproduction, will find our Fine Art Giclée reproductions a welcome alternative. And should you decide some time in the future that you’re ready to trade up to original art, your Giclée will be worth whatever you paid for it in trade.
If you would like to start or add to your collection, or commission a painting or portrait, give Thea a call, at 505 982-4561 She can also help you with any questions you have regarding:
